About Me

My Journey

Art has been my passion since my youth. Growing up as an only child in a quiet rural town, I certainly had a lot of time on my hands. Alongside watching Spongebob and eating Fritos and Beandip, I would gather my art supplies and draw for hours. From doodles of flowers and stick figures to following my first Bob Ross tutorial, I had found something that I was obsessed over. My mom, Crystal, who has always been my biggest supporter, helped spread the word about my art and how I wanted to take it to the next level. At the age of 13, I had started doing commissions for family members and close friends. From there, I utilized social media to start contributing to community service projects in town. Eagle Nest Rock and the American Legion Post 111's booth sign in Woodstock, CT are examples. I am eternally grateful for the endless support I have gotten throughout my journey so far, and I am currently looking to give back to my community through my art in any way I can!

Where Am I Now?

I am currently a junior undergraduate student at the University of Hartford, working towards my BFA in Illustration while minoring in Painting. These past two years, I have learned not only countless new techniques and skills to utilize, but I've learned a lot about myself as well. I have recently discovered an interest in technology, specifically Artificial Intelligence and its impact on artists and neighboring fields. I am curious to see where this technology takes me, and I am learning to embrace it and use it as inspiration for my current art!

My Future Goals

As of now, my dream as an artist is to discover something new and exciting that I can make a living off of. In today's age, coming up with new ideas can be difficult and intimidating, which is why I think I can harness the new technology of AI to make a new art style! Until I find this, however, I am focusing my efforts towards learning new skills that compliment my creative eye, such as 3D-modeling, technical illustration, and Graphic Design.

Community Projects

Something that drives me as an artist are the opportunities that allow me to give back to my community. Art is something that I can harness to make others smile and bring positivity to their day. Having this ability gives me courage to make larger and more impactful artworks, and I am so grateful for the support I have been given along my artistic journey.
